Croissants are one of the most popular bread around the world. It is delicious and is rich in texture that people really love. In this recipe, we’re going to make mini croissants that are super yummy and fairly easy to make!
A croissant is a buttery, flaky, viennoiserie pastry of Austrian origin, but mostly associated with France. Croissants are named for their historical crescent shape and, like another viennoiserie, are made of layered yeast-leavened dough. – Wikipedia
Without further ado, let’s start making mini croissants!
Steps:
Prepare all ingredients
In a bowl put together, milk, yeast, and sugar. Mix
Add in flour and salt. Mix
Form into a ball. Grease the dough
Cover. Let is rest for 1.5 hours
After the dough has rested, flatten the dough using a rolling pin
Roll into a log, then slice. Set aside
Flatten the sliced though and form into a mini circular shape
Add bread butter in between the layers of the dough. Continue the process, layering and spreading butter.
Place the layers of dough in a plastic wrap. Put in freezer for about 30 mins
Roll out the layers of dough into a rectangular shape then cut them into square
Then from square, shape it to triangle then roll it. Let it rest again for 30 minutes before baking
Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes 375F

- 1 tbsp. Yeast
- 3 cups Flour
- ½ tbsp. Salt
- ½ cup Butter
