Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 small clove Garlic
  • 1 pc Anchovy
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 pcs Bread (for croutons)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Prepare all the ingredients
  • Before making the dressing, let's make the croutons first. Slice the bread into small squares
  • Place the bread in a bowl
  • Season it with salt and pepper then drizzle oil.
  • Place it inside the oven for a few minutes
  • After that, squeeze some lemon juice
  • Mince garlic
  • For the dressing: In another bowl, add in anchovy, garlic, lemon juice, yogurt, and Worcestershire sauce. Slowly add olive oil and then whisk vigorously
  • To check when the dressing is emulsified, use a spoon and stir the sauce. If the dressing remains visible at the back of the spoon, it indicates that the dressing is good
  • Rinse and drain romaine lettuce then chop it into small pieces
  • Remove croutons in the oven. Make sure it is golden brown and crispy
  • Build the salad by sprinkling the dressing over the lettuce then add croutons. Toss it with your hands
  • Optional: add more dressing if desired
  • Season it with fresh ground pepper and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Serve. You're all set! You can now enjoy your delicious classic Caesar Salad!
