Spicy Garlic Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 stem Leeks
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/4 Water
  • 2 tbsp Chili flakes (powder)
  • 180 g Spaghetti noodles

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • Mince garlic.
  • Slice the leeks into 2 divides, the white and green, then slice thinly.
  • In a bowl, mix the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and water.
  • In a pot, boil the water. Cook pasta until al dente about 6-8 minutes. Drain. Set aside.
  • Heat pan with 3tbsp vegetable oil.
  • Saute garlic and white part of the leeks. Stir until the garlic is golden brown.
  • Add in chili flakes. Adding chili flakes to hot oil will make the oil spicy. Keep stirring,
  • Add a mixture of oyster sauce, soy sauce, and water.
  • Let it stay for a few minutes and cover the pan.
  • Toss in cooked pasta.
  • Let the mixture absorb until the pasta is fully coated.
  • Serve immediately. Garnish your pasta with the green leeks. All done!
