Hasselback Potatoes Recipe

  • 2 big Potatoes
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • Thyme
  • Rosemary (dried herbs)
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt and Pepper


  • Prepare all the ingredients
  • Slice the potato (washed and cleaned) ¾ through using a chopstick to prevent it from slicing all the way
  • This time use a  wooden spoon, slice the bottom on the potato, so potato will firmly stand. Repeat with the other potato
  • Brush oil all over the potato, season with salt then bake for 20minutes at 425 F.
  • While the potato is in the oven, melt butter. Then add thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper.
  • After 45 minutes, remove from the oven. Brush melted butter with herbs.
  • Place it back in the oven for another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven once done.
  • Serve. Enjoy your delicious hasselback potatoes!
