- Prepare all the ingredients 
- Cook pasta according to the directions on its packaging 
- After that, drain the pasta then set aside. 
- In a heated pan, add in the butter 
- When the butter is completely melted, add onions. Cook until onions are transkucent in color  
- Add ham, sautee for a few minutes then add mushrooms 
- Pour in the all-purpose cream. Continuosly stir 
- Add the milk, follow the grated cheese. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens 
- Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce 
- Mix until pasta is fully coated 
- Season it with salt and white pepper 
- Serve and enjoy your delicious and creamy carbonara!
