Ingredients

  • 400 g Fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 bar Butter
  • 1 med-size White onion
  • 1 cup Ham
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup All-purpose cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • Salt
  • White pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare all the ingredients
  • Cook pasta according to the directions on its packaging
  • After that, drain the pasta then set aside.
  • In a heated pan, add in the butter
  • When the butter is completely melted, add onions. Cook until onions are transkucent in color
  • Add ham, sautee for a few minutes then add mushrooms
  • Pour in the all-purpose cream. Continuosly stir
  • Add the milk, follow the grated cheese. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens
  • Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce
  • Mix until pasta is fully coated
  • Season it with salt and white pepper
  • Serve and enjoy your delicious and creamy carbonara!
