Ingredients

  • ½  cup Milk 
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 pc Egg
  • 1 tbsp. Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup Flour
  • cup White sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Baking powder
  • ½ tbsp. Salt
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  • Prepare all the ingredients
  • Combine milk and lemon juice to create buttermilk. Let it stay for 30 mins
  • Prepare dry ingredients. Put together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar
  • In the buttermilk, light beat in egg and vanilla extract
  • Add buttermilk mixture to flour mixture
  • Add a dash of cinnamon powder. Knead. Dust with flour surface area.
  • Shape dough into a ball. Flatten. Using a rolling pin to expand the dough.
  • Continue to flatten the dough. Slice the dough into square shape.
  • Cut them into uniform size. Make sure to utilize all the dough so there would be no waste.
  • In a deep frying pan, heat oil. Fry.
  • Flip over. Fry the rest of the dough.
  • Serve. Enjoy your delicious meal!
