Ingredients

  • 1 small Carrot
  • 2 stalk Leeks
  • 200 g Shrimps, peeled, devined
  • 400 g Ground pork
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 pc Egg
  • Wonton wrapper

Instructions

  • Prepare all the ingredients
  • Dice carrots into small pieces, chop leeks, and cut shrimps into small pieces
  • In a big bowl, combine ground pork, shrimp, leeks, carrot
  • Add sugar, sesame oil, oyster sauce, salt and pepper and egg
  • Spoon 1 tbsp of mixture into the wonton wrapper. Fold the sides and seal. Meanwhile, boil water for the steamer. Continue the process
  • Arrange the siomai in the steamer, let is stand for about 10-12 mins
  • Used a cloth to prevent from sticking in the steamer
  • Remove from steamer
  • Serve. Enjoy your delicious siomai!
